METHODOLOGICAL FEATURES: A new communicative method based on: - Work on the four skills, based on specific guidelines. - Specific development of discursive competence, through the presentation of, and work on, different types of texts: postcards, messages, diary pages, diaries, adverts... - Attention to the intercultural aspects of communication: indicative icon (explanation in the Teacher´s Book). - Task Learning: each unit proposes a global task to the class. - The incorporation of the language of new technologies: cellular phones, e-mail, Internet, cybercafes... - Classified and explained introduction of grammatical contents: clear charts, always with examples. Structure: twelve standard and three revision units. The latter consist of three compulsory sections: a) organization of a story/tale; b) summary of the lexicon by semantic fields, with attention to Latin American variants; c) compilation of leisure activities for group work. << Back
