at the French booksellers in La Rambla in Barcelona. The companies central
headquarters has been in Madrid since 1916.
The fast development of SGEL resulted in the opening of branches and bookshops
throughout the whole of Spain.
In 1940, SGEL already had ten branches, twelve bookshops and two hundred employees.
SGEL is a international group specialised in the sale and marketing of products and
